4 months to catch up on ....

The last post was about my sweet cousins wedding in January! Whew, it's the middle of May! Landon is now 3, Ivan is now 7 months old, I am now 30 and Billy is now 35 ... and in a few weeks we will celebrate 6 years of marriage!!

In March we went home to see family and to take some family pictures! They turned out amazing! Mimi had turned 86 years old a week prior and we thought this would be the best time to celebrate her with having her kids, grandkids and greatgrandkids all in one place at one time! Nicole at Capture Me Photography captured our precious memories that day!

We greatly enjoyed that photo shoot! We had a wonderful time visiting both sides of our family while back home! Wish we could have gotten back down to South Arkansas for visits with friends - time is never on our side!! We drove home - whew mercy that was unreal - and leaving FL it was rather warm. Our first day at Cathy's - it SNOWED!!! Landon got to see his first snow and was confused at the "RAIN" at first but totally thought it was the greatest thing!!!

Landon and the first time seeing snow!

Sweet Cousins - Landon was being smushed!!

We traveled over into OK to visit my parents and our second day there we decided to take a HIKE :) over in Devil's Den! Oh it was so pretty!! Landon had a blast climbing the rocks with Billy and watching the waterfall! I would love to go back and camp there!

Me and Ivan enjoying the beauty!

Daddy and Landon climbing rocks!!

Landon got to ride on the motorcycle with Poppa and he was OF COURSE in Heaven! So was Poppa!!

We had a wonderful time and greatly look forward to go back home - prayfully flying next time ha!

My best friends Mary and Martin have welcomed their second son into this world on April 22nd - EARTH DAY BABY! Big Brother Jude is learning to love him more and more daily!

Celebrating Luke's arrival

We like our awkward photos :)

Baby Luke letting me know he was tired of photos!

We celebrated Ivan's dedication as well in March -

Landon was very much wanting attention from EVERYONE at the Church!

Easter was a fun time as well - we missed out on the Egg Hunt due to traveling - but we greatly enjoyed our Sunday Easter Service with our Highlands Baptist Family.

Abbott's 4 on Easter Sunday

Landon turned 3! I cannot even begin to explain how insane this is to me! I feel it was just yesterday we found out we were pregnant!! How this crazy mischievous kind-hearted boy makes me incredibly crazy and happy at the same time! We had a Toy Story themed party - due to his obsession with the movies!!! He had a blast with the Jump House and his friends! He had a blast with his NEWEST gal friend :) Zoey! Her Daddy is in the Navy stationed here in Jax and her Momma works with me and I'm super thrilled she showed up in our lives!!

Well I think I am semi-all caught up! The summer has officially started in the Abbott house and we are headed on our first summer trip to Key West to visit our amazing friends/family The Petty's! They moved in November and we are soooooo looking forward to seeing them and seeing how much Coral and Abby have grown!!! Look for photos :)

Austin trip: Mallory gets married

Awe 2012 flew by and January of the new year is almost over - time SERIOUSLY needs to slow down!

My sweet baby (eh she will always be my younger cousin) cousin Mallory is now a married woman! Mal and Ernesto were married January 12th. It was beautiful! She and her friends/family did an amazing job decorating - burlap! Gorgeous! We were able to make the trip by flying - not driving 17 hours to Austin - whew! And Landon was insane with excitement -- he was flying MICKEY'S PLANE!! He did great - and Ivan's first flight was good for him as well!!

It was not only wonderful to watch her start a new chapter in life but to also see so many family members we haven't seen in awhile or the last time it being such a sad visit. Some of us had never met! It was the greatest weekend thus far!

Christmas 2012 Recap

Christmas was great! Landon made cookies for Santa and left him some milk - we tracked him on NORAD and FINALLY Landon decided to give in and head to bed so Santa would stop off by our house to leave him some presents. It was fun this year with the whole "SANTA" thing - Landon loved it and randomly now asks where he is and when is he coming back.

Riding the Christmas Train at our realtors Christmas party

I was beyond thrilled that this year on the actual DAY of Christmas Billy was off! Growing up my Dad worked many holidays/birthdays and we knew we celebrate whenever Daddy was off work! Same goes in our house today. Holidays are just another day - we celebrate when Daddy is home and able to be with us for that event. But this year - the first year as a family of four and Landon being sooooo exciting about Santa - it was just heart warming to have him home!

We had a small dinner - we had over our other family to celebrate with us this year. Titi (Michelle), Lita (Rosa), Dali (Michelle's sister) and Dali's husband Luis. We had a great time. Being away from our blood family on holidays is semi sad each time but having friends here that are more family than friends makes holidays and everyday honestly just  BETTER! We are truly blessed!
